Introducing Dr. Doug Brandenburg
Dr. Brandenburg is an independent Baptist preacher with over 40 years of ministry experience. He is the son of a children's evangelist, Evangelist Carl Brandenburg and was trained by Dr. Joe Boyd.
He is a passionate preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is committed to evangelizing the lost, equipping the saints and edifying the local church.
He and his wife, Rhonda, live in the Charleston, SC area.

Preaching
Dr. Brandenburg is a preacher! His passion is to present truths from the Word of God in the public services of Baptist Churches. He answered God's call to preach the Gospel when he was 14 years old. His preaching style is a "fiery" one! Hence the name, Pulpit Aflame! This site will host many audio and video sermons preached by Dr. Brandenburg.
He is available now to come to your church for revival meetings, Bible Conferences, Church Worker Conferences, Camps, Vacation Bible Schools (VBS)and Evangelistic Meetings.

Preparing
1 Timothy 3:2 states that a preacher should "be apt to teach." One of Dr. Brandenburg's ministry life verses is 2 Timothy 2:2 "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." This describes Dr. Brandenburg passion for imparting the truths of Scripture to others. His preaching is full of teaching and he has many years of experience teaching in local churches as well as Bible colleges and Bible institutes. Dr. Brandenburg's meetings often include special "teaching" seminars and ministry instruction.
A major part of the teaching ministry will be a three year online Bible Institute. Students will be able to enroll in a program will offer online video lectures that will teach the Bible and practical ministry training. Tests and quizzes will be given and a diploma will be awarded at the end of the program.
Publishing
Dr. Brandenburg has written Bible study guides (Moments with the Master), Bus Ministry resource manual (Bus Promotions Made Easy) as well as countless articles and booklets. Future plans call for a full publishing ministry (Pulpit Aflame Publications) to serve Pastors, Believers, and Local Churches by providing materials that will help them in their walk with God and provide materials for their ministries for the Lord.
Missions
Missions is the main task of the local church. That involves home missions (your Jerusalem and Judea), and foreign missions (your Samaria and uttermost part of the earth.) Dr. Brandenburg's ministry has led him to preaching from coast to coast in America, in the swamps of Papua New Guinea, the fields of Canada, and cities in Mexico. He plans to expand this portion of his ministry!
